. THE While looking through a message board, I found a discussion thread that deplored and berated the young American male of 18 to 30 who still lives with his parents, doesn't seem to be ambitious, and won't go out into the world to try to earn a decent living. It's scary, really, to discover just how many people simply refuse to grasp what's been happening all around us. More than a decade ago, I arrived in a lovely small town in the Southwest. It was easy to move here, because the local newspaper ads provided lots of painters, carpenters, handymen, plumbers, and all the other professional services without which, the city's population, especially us single women All of those services have now vanished. The young American men who used to perform them, couldn't continue do so, once that flock of illegals arrived and undercut their already low fees, by one-tenth. Since then, all the local painters, carpenters, handymen and plumbers, have either left town or moved back in with their parents. And in that quiet, unpublicized, yet totally devastating way, an entire segment of the normal population of every single town and city in America, has been deprived of its rightful livelihood. And now people attack and blame those very same guys, for not having the kind of ambition that those in their age-range once used to have. How disgusting is that? +++++++
